It has come to this…  Stonewalling, insincerity, causing evil, participating in evil, hiding evil…  It has come to this…

Instead of my beloved Church being what my beloved Church stands for this is what we get, “Crimes against Humanity”.  Of course all people are sinful, a result of the vestiges of original sin, even after baptism.  That sin is gone but the effects are still an influence.  But this, this nightmare that the hierarchy, (and some clergy) have created goes beyond the influences of original sin.

First nothing was done by the Church.  Then the evil became public…and nothing was done.  THEN something was done…BLAMING OTHERS, EXCUSES, but only apologies when it was too late.  And less I forget the self-aggrandizement because of the formation of victim assistance units as well as measures for child protection.   Where was my protection?   Victim assistance offices would not have been needed if the men in charge did something instead of covering up and moving abusive priests around.

Clergy the world over should be up in arms, protesting loudly and leading the charge to make this right again and not just bitterly complain about the scandal and the hierarchy to one another.
