Of course it appeared in the same paper that carried a story about a priest who tried to hire a hitman to kill an 18-year-old man who accused him of molestation when the man was just a boy.
I found out by accident about a priest who was a seminarian with me, (the second time I was in the seminary), and accused of molestation while he was still a student. True? Not true? I do not know but it has sent me into…I can’t even describe it…I’m going back to therapy once a week now. You see, non-victims of priest sexual abuse have no clue about what or how we suffer. I’m doing therapy. I’ve done the healing retreat Grief to Grace. And still this crap effects me. The difference is that because of therapy and Grief to Grace I am not paralyzed by such tawdry news. I can and do function. I just wish the Church was really doing something to help.
