Nothing from Bishop Cupich at the USCCB.  Sill going to stick with the letter writing tactic. Next on the list is the Supreme Chaplin of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop William E. Lori.  I’ll post that letter as soon as I compose it.  I have to pray about it first.  Meanwhile I have heard NOTHING!!! from bishops Barres or Malooly.  Cardinal Rigali has not responded to my second letter to him yet.  I don’t know why I find it frustrating but I do.  Inaction seems to be the modus operandi.  Maybe the bishop letter writing should be augmented by a priest letter writing campagne too.  There is a reason that the cliché, ‘The squeaky wheel gets the grease.”  Because it’s true.  I’ll have to squeak louder and more often.  It would be helpful if there were other squeaky wheels too.
