Hurry up and wait.  I guess responses from clerics take so long so that their words can be measured and chosen carefully.  Although I cannot for the life of me figure out why positive actions and activities take soooo long to make it into practice.  Outreach should have been immediate when the proverbial shit, (the sex scandal), hit the fan, (the consciousness of the masses).

So much pain…so much pain…  Why the delay?  Jesus did not delay.
